Lili Bermant z"l describes her parents reaction to her dating life, in particular, her experience dating non-Jews and non-Europeans. She remembers her parents asking after a first date, "Is he Jewish?" Ultimately, she recounts the process of pursuing her future husband, a Jewish American.
