"Overprotection II" by Debra Olin

This work is based on a song by Itsik Manger, “Afn veg shteyt a boym”. The song explores the relationship between mother and child. The child plans to live as a bird in a deserted tree. The mother wants to protect the child from the elements, covering him in so many clothes, not only can he not fly, he can barely move.
