I would like to learn Yiddish. Can I take a class at the Yiddish Book Center?

Over the years the Yiddish Book Center has offered Yiddish classes in various formats to a variety of learners. Our current offerings are primarily aimed at college students, through our flagship Steiner Summer Yiddish Program and through semester-length classes we offer in conjunction with Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.

In September 2012, the Center launched its Yiddish Language Institute, one of the goals of which is the development of high-quality online Yiddish learning opportunities that can be accessed by people all over the world. If you want to receive email updates about the progress of the Institute, and about future online courses, please use the form located on the right side of this page.
