Unquiet Pages

Yiddish literature comes to life through a series of displays embedded in the bookshelves of the Yiddish Book Center repository. Each of the nineteen displays focuses on an aspect of Yiddish literature, from its writers and genres to the scope and history of the works.

Drawing from the Center’s collection of more than one million Yiddish books, Unquiet Pages opens to visitors the fascinating contents of Yiddish novels, plays, poetry, memoirs, and reportage.

This exhibition is made possible by a generous grant from the David Berg Foundation.
