I grew up in a small town in southern Norway, far removed from the Yiddish world. Before coming to the Book Center, I earned degrees in English Literature and Jewish Studies, and studied at a yeshiva in Jerusalem. At the Yiddish Book Center, I am involved with translations initiatives, periodical projects, and creating an online Yiddish book club.
