Tent: Children's Literature Registration Form

Most meals are eaten at the Hampshire College dining hall (one or two will be catered at the Yiddish Book Center). The college dining services offer a diverse, nutritious selection, including extensive vegetarian options. The dining hall staff work hard to accommodate allergies and special dietary needs. Participants should let us know in advance about any dietary restrictions or preferences.

While the Hampshire dining hall does not serve kosher food, those who are comfortable eating vegetarian, vegan, or “kosher style” are usually happy with the dining hall option. We provide alternative certified kosher meals for those who request them in advance. Kosher and non-kosher participants eat together in the dining hall, with disposable plates and utensils provided for kosher food.

Participants who require accommodations will be housed at the Hotel Northampton in shared single-gender rooms. Check-in begins at 2:30pm on April 29 and check out is at 11am on May 4.

Participants are expected to treat the buildings and furnishings at the Hotel Northampton with respect. Any damage will be billed to the responsible participant.

Participants who wish to stay in a single room or another hotel or inn may arrange to do so at their own expense. If you plan on arriving early or staying late and require lodging, you must make arrangements directly with the Hotel Northampton.

I hereby agree to be interviewed, photographed, recorded, and filmed during Tent: Children's Literature and that quotes, photographs, and videos can be used by Tent: Encounters with Jewish Culture and the Yiddish Book Center and their designees for promotional or instructional purposes, without compensation.
