Tisch Professor of Judaic Studies at the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Professor Krutikov discusses the life and work of enigmatic Yiddish writer Der Nister (“The Recluse”). Professor Kruitkov led the spring 2019 weekend program “Between Fantasy and Reality: The Writings of Der Nister” at the Yiddish Book Center.
