Listen to a conversation with Susan and David Bryfman of the Jewish Education Project on a recent episode of its podcast, “Adapting: The Future of Jewish Education.” Susan and David discussed how Yiddish can be used as a tool to get a younger generation excited about connecting to Jewish life. Yiddish: Alive in America

Susan spoke with Lisa Peal Rosenbaum of The Braid about the origin story of the Yiddish Book Center and how a new generation of Yiddishists who treasure the language's strikingly modern literature (which includes some little-known women writers), are giving it a fresh American voice. With a special performance by Arva Rose of a poem in Yiddish and English written by Pessie Pomerantz-Honigbaum.
