In this roundtable discussion, in conjunction with a 2022 production at the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, three commentators with a deep engagement with Asch discuss his extraordinary life and career – and why his plays still matter.

Jewish Museum Milwaukee, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Nathan & Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center, Tapestry: Arts & Ideas from the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC, and UW-Milwaukee’s LGBTQ+ Studies Program.

This event took place on March 15, 2022. It was presented online by the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA.
