Yiddish Book Center’s Wexler Oral History Project Oral History Field Fellowship Application

Since 2010, the Yiddish Book Center’s Wexler Oral History Project has recorded more than 1,200 in-depth video interviews that provide a deeper understanding of the Jewish experience and the legacy and changing nature of Yiddish language and culture. The Project recruits oral history field fellows to interview narrators of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. The interviews of our growing collection are conducted in English, Yiddish, and other languages in which our field fellows have expertise. Virtual and in-person video interviews are recorded across the United States and around the world. We are looking for field fellows that can help expand and diversify our collection through their personal and professional connections.
