Judy Kunofsky, executive director of KlezCalifornia, shares her memories of the Arbeter Ring (Workmen's Circle) shule she attended for four years. She remembers that many of the students' parents were Holocaust survivors, that very little was taught about Israel, and that God played no role in her Jewish education.
